Job Description

As part of its program to strengthen and specialize its sales organization, Consystem is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer capable of promoting and selling electronic components and subsystems, particularly those designed for power supply applications, as well as thermal management, visualization, and security applications.

The position involves the responsibility of developing and managing, with a high degree of autonomy, your own client base, with a particular emphasis on product promotion, technical support, and sales, with defined targets for volume and margins.

Required Experience

Requirements:

  • At least five years of work experience in the promotion and sale of electronic components and subsystems, with a particular focus on the power supply sector;
  • Technical knowledge of basic electronics;
  • Experience in hardware/software design at electronics laboratories is preferred.

Additional requirements:

  • Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering;
  • Written and spoken English proficiency sufficient to handle emails in English and actively participate in meetings, conference calls, and general interactions with foreign suppliers;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong goal- and customer-orientation, initiative, autonomy, and a willingness to work in a team;
  • Preferably residing in the province of Milan or, as a less preferred alternative, Pavia, Varese, Bergamo, Como, Monza, or Lodi.

Work Location

The primary work location for this position is Milan, with frequent travel throughout Italy to visit potential clients and the possibility of business trips abroad (Europe/Asia/USA) for technical and sales meetings with suppliers, trade shows, etc.
