TMCIII motor driver – Motor driver up to 355W

Flat Servo Motion Controller

The TMCIII motor driver is a driver for motors up to 355W from Redler, a next-generation device offering exceptional performance in defense applications and advanced robotic automation. Thanks to its high precision, this component can guarantee greater reliability and durability compared to other similar products on the market.

The TMC III is a miniaturized module that can be mounted on top of a PCB. This motor driver can power motors up to 355W, with a recommended operating voltage of 12-28 VDC. It has a continuous current of 12.5ARMS (with an adequate heat sink plate). It uses field-oriented sinusoidal current vector control, Iq Id oriented. It has a guided procedure for motor calibration and motor feedback via Hall, incremental or SSI encoder. It has closed-loop PID modes for position, speed and current control. It has an autotuning function and manual PID tuning. It has a dedicated GUI, with the ability to save and load parameters and display the signal in real time. It communicates via CAN bus and RS232/RS422. Firmware can be updated via communication. It has 4 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs. It has a 0-5V analog input. It has high-current, low RDS(ON), 100V power MOSFET transistors. It has protections against overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent, encoder failure, motor lock, etc. It has an operating temperature from -40°C to +85°C.

Thanks to its high precision and reliability, this motor driver can guarantee exceptional performance in extreme environments and critical applications. It can be used in a wide range of applications, including industrial automation (vision spot, pedestals), advanced robotics (universal joints), and defense (UAV platforms).
