HF5111B – HF Serial Server – Serial to Ethernet Converter
The HF5111B unit is a serial-to-Ethernet converter (RS232/RS422/RS485 to Ethernet) and is a complete solution for devices with a serial port connecting to the network. This powerful device supports a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet connection, a reliable, field-proven operating system in Flash memory, an embedded Web server, and a complete TCP/IP stack based on standard encryption (AES).
The HF5111B provides a serial interface to Ethernet/web connectivity to enable any device.
The HF5111B integrates a TCP/IP controller, memory, 10/100M Ethernet transceiver, high-speed serial port, and also integrates a fully developed TCP/IP network stack and FreeRTOS OS.
The HF5111B includes an embedded Web server used to remotely configure, monitor or troubleshoot the attached device.
The HF5111B uses a highly integrated hardware and software platform, optimized for all types of applications in industrial control, smart grid, personal medical applications and remote control that have lower transmission speeds and transmit or receive data on an uninterrupted basis.
The HF5111B integrates all serial-to-Ethernet functionality in dimensions of 94 x 65 x 25 mm.
