iSYS-5005 RADAR MIMO 24Ghz: 3D radar module capable of simultaneously tracking multiple moving targets
Among the solutions offered by Consystem in the RADAR field is the iSYS-5005 radar sensor by InnoSenT, a leading German company in the sector. The iSYS-5005 radar is a MIMO Radar (Multiple In Multiple Out) that operates in the 24GHz ISM band, with integrated signal processing and three-dimensional radar resolution.
Accurate and anonymous monitoring, multi-target classification
The iSYS-5005 features an intelligent µC pre-processing unit, which enables it to detect moving objects and measure their speed, direction, distance and angle. In this way, it can reliably differentiate between multiple objects (up to 8), locate them in space and track them precisely within the detection range.
The radar module communicates the detected data (Object List) via a UART serial port using a proprietary application protocol.
The maximum detection distance is about 25m with an opening angle of +/- 55°.
Ability to set specific alarm and monitoring areas via GUI
Through the GUI (Graphical User Interface), the user can easily define specific areas of interest and set the distance up to which the radar must respond. In other words, zones can be “defined” in which the system should trigger the alarm or, for example, ignore the movement of objects.
