System on Module (SoM) with included TFT-LCD display modules (from 5″ up to 23″) for developing Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications. Multiple peripheral interfaces and hardware video decoding capability on the embedded system board.

Powertip’s SOM MPU embedded solutions offer the ability to interface with other devices via a large number of peripherals such as: UART, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, MIPI SDIO, MIPI CSI (for 4K, Full HD high-resolution cameras), CAN, GPIO, SDIO, I2S, PCIe, and the ability to display various activities via Full HD (1920*1080) TFT displays with multitouch capacitive touch screen (up to 10 points).
ARM processors ensure high performance with reduced power consumption, optimizing efficiency under any working condition. The MIPI SDIO interface also allows two displays to be connected simultaneously, offering the possibility of using an additional remote screen; expanding product development possibilities (industrial and otherwise) as well as maximizing design efficiency while simplifying the design.

Furthermore, the Linux MCU operating platforms (Yocto, Debian and Ubuntu distributions) and Android, together with the Buildroot development tool, guarantee extreme versatility, reliability, rapid development and production scalability.

Display of ongoing operations is also ensured thanks to the numerous available display interfaces: HDMI, LVDS, MIPI DSI, eDP, Parallel TTL RGB.

Another distinctive feature of Powertip’s embedded solutions (Smart display + SOM MPU) is the ability to freely download the BSP (board support package), which, together with the manufacturer’s warranty (for support/maintenance/system updates over time), ensures long product life in a wide variety of applications.

Powertip’s embedded solutions are characterized by a high level of mechanical integration, ensuring reduced footprint, as even the board dimensions do not exceed the outline dimensions of the displays (5”, 7”, 10.1”, 23.8” cuts).
