Seeing clearly: the new high-brightness displays for outdoor applications

Displays for informational use are becoming increasingly common, particularly in outdoor applications, in both urban and suburban settings, such as parks, stations, airports and shopping centers. Technical features

ODHitec’s high brightness displays, available in sizes from 8” to 43”, feature brightness ranging from 1000 to 2000 nits and adjustable backlighting, allowing for reduced power consumption and extended product life. With a resolution from 800×600 to 1920×1080, they feature a wide viewing angle (85/85/85/85) that ensures optimal visibility from different perspectives, without color shifts. The wide operating temperature range from -30°C to +80°C, together with IP65 certification, helps make these solutions usable even in extreme weather conditions. The control interface, very intuitive and easy to use, allows you to manage and schedule the advertising and/or information shown on the display. In short, in light of these features, these displays are suitable for numerous applications, such as: multimedia showcases, billboards, totems, kiosks, charging stations etc.

Optical Bonding technology

A feature of definite interest and increasingly in demand for outdoor use is Optical Bonding, an optional technology available to the customer, which allows for the minimization of diffuse refraction (the light reflection rate is reduced by more than 90%), greater display robustness (resistant to water, humidity and dust), greater resistance to vibrations (for example, for applications on board means of transport such as trains, buses etc.) and, moreover, a better user experience.
