EPC Space is the aerospace division of Efficient Power Conversion (EPC), a world leader in the production of GaN-on-Silicon power devices and a global benchmark in the low-voltage device market (< 400 V).
The EPC Space division specialises in the development and manufacture of qualified GaN FETs for space applications, specifically designed to guarantee high performance in environments subject to radiation and extreme operating conditions.
EPC Space devices undergo rigorous radiation-hard screening and qualification processes, with SEE (Single Event Effects) tests performed on every wafer and TID (Total Ionizing Dose) qualifications carried out on each production batch. The entire production process is optimised to ensure maximum reliability in space missions.
EPC Space GaN FETs already boast an important heritage in the aerospace sector, with over 120 customers and more than 200,000 devices installed on commercial and military satellites in LEO and GEO orbits.
CONSYSTEM is the authorised distributor and representative for EPC Space in Italy, offering dedicated technical and commercial support for aerospace and high-reliability applications.
A complete range of JANSH2N devices will also be available shortly; in the meantime, equivalent solutions with JANS equivalent process are already available, able to meet the requirements of the most advanced space applications.
