VisionSOM-STM32MP1 is characterized by the new STM32MP157 microprocessor (with a clock frequency of 650MHz) from STM (STMicroelectronics), a Multi-core solution (Single or double: with x2- Cortex-a7 / x1 -Cortex-M4 architecture) capable of offering full flexibility for real-time applications (Linux and advanced HMI).

The module offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity via the (optional) combo WiFi/BLE LBEE5KL1DX Murata 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.1 + EDR module, as well as guaranteeing high bandwidth (1Gb) on the ethernet side, simplifying carrier board design.

The module has high computing capacity thanks to DDR3L SDRAM (512MB or 1024MB), eMMC/uSD memory card up to 32GB, Quad-SPI Flash up to 16 MBytes, and a camera interface up to 14bit.

The possibility of different boot and memory options (via uSD, NAND, eMMC) completes the overall picture of the product.
